FEATURED ARTISTS
Ningshu Fang
Ningshu Fang of Shanghai Dragonfly is Asia America’s resident artist. Specializing in pieces that unify her experiences of China and Japan, having been a citizen of each, her work is a collection of vibrant watercolor, precise ink, and dazzling culture.
She has been featured in galleries in NYC, and locally at Lan Su Garden. Her works are available at Asia America as greeting cards, prints, and framed originals. Asia America Riverplace serves as Fang’s gallery space.
Kanani Miyamoto
Kanani Miyamoto is a Japanese-American artist based in Portland. Her work draws inspiration from traditional Japanese styles of paper making, woodblock prints, and tattooing. Her imagery is at once classic and bizarre, featuring long, twisting tendrils of snakes scales alongside sweet, delicate peony petals.
Miyamoto's work in both color and black-and-white harkens to traditional East Asian brush and ink style paintings. She achieves the effect with a unique style of paper mache that makes her subject leap off the canvas (or wall).
Asia America is proud to host Kanani Miyamoto as an artist in our warehouse. Her mural work in our entryway is a show stopping masterpiece, and her framed paintings are a delight for any home.
Vicki Colburn
Vicki lived in Italy to study painting and art history, which is where a true passion for color began to take hold. Through the years, her painting style evolved through color that evokes joy, hope, and healing. These colors are searched for, created and explored, adding many layers of pigment upon pigment.
“Beautiful color is life. Color breathes into our spirits.”
